Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most acclaimed films. In New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. The first job she had was a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. She was noticed in her two first films and received Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international success, earning the actress the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. Within just three short films she was the highest-rated female box-office star in the entire world. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature with handprints, foot prints and handprints in 1972. Some of the films she's been in include The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw's been married three different times.
