Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the US for over forty years. She is most famous because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Her Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in when she made her stage debut. Later, in 1956, she made her big break with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. Her next role that she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on with in 1964. Louise had a long and successful career, balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying an empathetic, as opposed to her glamour-doll image received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate.
