Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Best known for anchoring the CNN morning program At This Hour, Bolduan is a broadcast journalist from America. She previously co-anchored CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan took part in CNN's award-winning coverage of the presidential election 2012 and 2016. Her prior experience included working as a Washington DC based correspondent, reporting on all aspects of both US House and Senate. Bolduan's coverage of congressional events as well as events that occurred during her tenure as an official of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiations to raise the limit on debt for the US, as well as debates by the supercommittee. As an assignment reporter for general assignments, she has covered stories including those of Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource as National Correspondent in 2007.
