Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. She gained the attention of the world in the year 2010 by releasing her hit singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding rapidly rose to the top of the charts due to her enthralling electronic pop style. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding's soprano quirk and ability to write catchy but emotionally sincere songs puts her at the forefront for popular music of the present in addition to arty and independent pop. Polydor Records signed her to an agreement with a record label and she was preparing the release of her debut album.
