
Alexandra Morgan Carrasco (American professional soccer player) is a striker. She also serves as captain of the San Diego Wave FC of National Women's Soccer League, the top division in professional soccer for women. From 2018 until 2020, she was a co-captain of the women's national soccer team of America along with Megan Rappinoe. [8][9] Morgan was drafted as the number one player in the Western New York Flash's 2011 WPS Draft shortly after she completed her degree early at the University of California, Berkeley. Morgan played for the California Golden Bears. Morgan made her professional debut at the club and was instrumental in the team's winning the league championship. Morgan was 22 years old at the time and was the youngest member of the national team in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011. The team came in second. In the 123rd minute of the semi-final match against Canada during the 2012 London Olympics she scored the game-winning goal.
